On the label that adorns this bottle, a clownfish lounging in a coral reef... Normal, it's one of the new references in the Under the Sea range, which brings together the brand's best vintages!
This time, it is a 2009 vintage, which comes from far away: from the Fiji Islands , this archipelago lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Produced from distillation in a Pot Still still and in a column, it benefited from a maturation of 7 years on its island of origin, before joining the Château de Bonbonnet in Charente, where, like the other vintages of the Plantation brand , it benefited from an additional 2 years of finishing in Cognac barrels.
Tasting
Color: A beautiful golden color with bright amber reflections.
Nose: This rum is resolutely fruity. After aeration, we discover the spices and a very pleasant floral character.
Mouth: Citrus fruits bring their refreshing presence. A pleasant sensation of exoticism on the palate.
Final
A remarkable length on the finish.
