Nose : smooth, mellow. Notes of precious wood (cedar, oak) coat toasted coffee, candied apricots and peppermint. It evolves with spices, maple syrup and pumpkin. It clearly evokes the dust-saturated atmosphere of a carpentry.
Mouth : round, honeyed. Very different from the nose, its attack is marked by citrus fruits and dark chocolate. Also reminiscent of a marc de burgundy or a coffee liqueur, it evolves into heady flowers (peony, rose) and dried fruits (prune, apricot). It is held from start to finish by a fruity acidity (Brugnon, melon).
Finish : long, it takes its time to reveal all its fruits (apricot, peach, mirabelle plum). Candied, it is also vegetable (cut hay) and spicy (ginger). The cocoa powder gives it a very fine grain. The empty glass brings out notes of mimosa and flowering sulfur.
