This elegant decanter was received with great interest by connoisseurs, because it contains one of the rare novelties from Maison Dillon in recent years.
This aged rum produced in 2004 benefited from 12 years of aging in American oak barrels then finished in French oak barrels, two stays which allowed it to develop its aromatic profile.
So what joys does this 2004 vintage from Maison Dillon, the flagship of Martinican rums, have in store for us?
Tasting
Color: A beautiful amber color.
Nose: An exceptional concentration of aromas, in which we recognize, pell-mell, exotic fruits, fresh cane and ginger.
Mouth: Power. Fruity notes of great freshness, due in particular to maracuja, rub shoulders with a slight hint of anise which adds complexity to the whole.
Finish: The finish ends with generous fruity and floral notes.
