Citadelle is the first gin distilled in Charente copper stills. Its progressive infusion method is also unique: it consists of adding each of the 19 aromatics in the recipe at different times during a maceration which takes place over 4 days, while gradually reducing the alcohol level. A true work of art whose aim is to preserve the organoleptic qualities and capture the ultimate fragrance of each berry, each spice, each citrus fruit. On the palate, Citadelle Original offers complete aromatic richness. The genever immediately presents the signature of Citadelle. It then gives way to a voluptuous citrus fragrance which highlights it. Finally, the finish becomes more exotic, with a beautiful spicy length that we owe to touches of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
