Domaine Vincent Lumpp is located in the Hameau de Poncey, south of the Givry appellation and cultivates 9 hectares of vines classified as GIVRY Premier Cru, distributed as follows: 1 hectare of Chardonnay in the climats Le Vigron and La Grande Berge and 8 hectares of Pinot Noir in the climats Crémillons, La Petite Berge, La Grande Berge, Le Vigron, Clos Jus, Clos du Cras Long and Clos Saint-Paul (monopole).
Nose: expressive, red fruits, wild strawberry
Palate: Fresh, with fine and supple tannins, fruity, elegant
Final: good length
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
Aging: 6 months in vats, 12 months in barrels.
Food and wine pairings: Cheese, white meats, pasta, pies and terrines, cured ham and charcuterie. However, its distinction and solid structure delight meat lovers: fibrous cuts, beef steaks, but also braised veal and poultry stew, chicken in a pot and roasted Bresse chicken appreciate its dense tannins. The Givry appellation also pairs well with soft cheeses: Camembert, Brie de Meaux, Reblochon.
