The Gauldrons, which literally means "storm bay," is a blended malt from Campbeltown, the former Scottish capital of whisky. Step back in time with this blend of the region's finest single malts and discover a whisky with a maritime, even tempestuous, character. It joins Douglas Laing's permanent Remarkable Regional Malt range, offering a tasting experience without coloring or chill filtration.
Tasting notes
Nose : Cereal notes, freshly baked rye bread. Rye spices balanced by the freshness of fig, apricot and plum notes.
Appearance : Gold.
Palate : Warm and full-bodied. Unfolding of the aromas from the nose, with notes of chocolate and dried fruit.
Finish : Warm and full-bodied. Unfolding of the nose's notes, with aromas of chocolate and dried fruit.
