Known above all for its whiskeys, Nikka offers a complex Coffey Gin with lively and tangy aromas that come from four types of Japanese citrus fruits: Yuzu, Kabosu, Amanatsu and Shequasar.
The spiciness of citrus fruits combines with eleven carefully selected traditional botanical plants ( juniper berries, angelica, coriander seeds, etc.) in a beautiful balance, and ends with a spicy touch of Japanese green Sansho pepper.
Its rich and silky texture is given to it thanks to the corn and malted barley distillates produced in the Coffey stills of the Miyagikyo distillery.
Nose: very fragrant, it reveals the tanginess of orange blossom and lime, then reveals some spicy touches of gray pepper and pink berries.
Mouth: lively, it offers a silky texture from Coffey distillates. It subsequently becomes spicier with lively aromas coming from four types of Japanese citrus fruits: Yuzu, Kabosu, Amanatsu and Shequasar.
Finish: the finish is fresh and tangy with touches of apple and bitter orange, followed by pleasant spicy notes of Japanese green Sansho pepper.
