The origin

Kilchoman, founded in 2005, is one of Islay's smallest distilleries and also one of the few to carry out all stages of production on-site, from growing the barley to bottling. The name Sanaig refers to a rocky bay near the distillery, reflecting Kilchoman's close connection to its maritime environment. The marriage of bourbon and sherry casks gives this whisky a unique profile that captures the wild essence of Islay.
