Until 1970, sailors who served in the Royal Navy enjoyed a privilege: every day, a ration of rum was served to them, in gratitude for their good and loyal service within this prestigious institution.

Alas, on July 31, everything stops: thus ends this custom which would have encouraged more than one Rum Lover to get involved!

This fateful day was nicknamed Black Tot Day . And we are celebrating, in this year 2020, the 50th anniversary. Hence the name of this vintage “ 50th anniversary ”, from the Black Tot brand.

It is an inspired and charming blend of three wines from Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad.
