Plantation Rum 2013 Barbados is the ^5th opus of the Under the Sea collection. After Panama, Jamaica, Fiji and Guyana, it’s time for Barbados.

This vintage is a blend of 20 barrels selected by Alexandre Gabriel, the Cellar Master of Plantation rums.
The rums from these barrels were distilled in 2013 in a pot still and in a column at the West Indies Rum Distillery.

They aged for 8 years in the tropics in 200 liter bourbon barrels. The blend then benefited from a 12-month maturation in 20 400-liter French oak barrels.
This second aging took place in Javrezac, in the southwest of France.
