The Brotherhood of Rum is one of the most dynamic communities on Facebook. We give daily opinions on this or that vintage, we exchange good tips... An excellent initiative from its founders, Benoît Bail and Jerry Gitany.
It was to these two men that 6 years ago, the Longueteau house paid tribute, by allowing them to select one of its vintages for the Confrérie du Rhum: the brand's first single-plot rum , made from Blue Cane.
The rum that we are now discovering is none other than this rum, aged for 6 years in French oak barrels having contained Cognac , in the cellars of the Longueteau house, on the Domaine du Marquisat located at the foot of Soufrière.
Bottling was carried out without cold filtering or adding any additives, in an approach favoring authenticity.
A superb Single Cask , which honors the Longueteau brand as well as the Confrérie du Rhum!
