Here is a new reference from Plantation’s “Under the Sea” range, which pays homage, remember, to marine animals.
This 2007 Vintage comes from Guyana, a country that usually has some nice surprises in store in terms of rum!
And the tasting once again confirms this hypothesis…
The distillation of this rum benefited from particular care since it involved no less than three legendary stills: Port Mourant, Savalle and Enmore, all collected by the Diamond distillery after the disappearance of their original distillery.
After 13 years of maturation on its island of origin, this rum joined the Plantation brand cellars in the Cognac region for an additional two years of finishing.
After aeration, we recognize the vanilla and almond. On the palate, leather, molasses and tobacco create a harmonious accord that will create a consensus!
An ageless rum that deserves its place in the Under the Sea range!
