RUM SAMAROLI 2003 DEMERARA 50% % 70 CL

RUM SAMAROLI 2003 DEMERARA 50% % 70 CL

Born in Bologna, Italy , Silvano Samaroli , the founder of the house, started his business in 1968 by selecting and bottling some of the best whiskeys in the world. At the start, it was the only independent bottler that was not British. In the 1990s, Samaroli added rum to his selection: he sought out the best distilleries and brought the barrels back to Scotland, where the climate allows slower aging. In 2008, Antonio Bleve , who has worked with Mr. Samaroli for many years and shares his philosophy and passion, took over the company. In collaboration with a community of rum and whiskey experts, Antonio continues his quest for exceptional barrels thanks to the House's historical relationships and new encounters. Samaroli is also continuing research work on blending, combining the flavors of aged eaux-de-vie with the power of younger ones to recreate the soul of the whisky, in particular by returning the whiskeys or rums to new barrels, to bring them an incomparable depth compared to classic Single Malts. Samaroli offers Single Malts and single cask rums chosen for their exceptional character. Each Samaroli bottle indicates the year barreled, the year bottling, the number of bottles obtained from each barrel, and the individual bottle number.

This rum distilled in 2003 by the Diamond Distillery (Demerara Distillers) in Guyana is aged in Scotland by Samaroli and bottled in June 2020. Limited edition of 488 bottles .
