The canopy is the name given to the upper part of a forest, formed by the treetops. It shelters specific, often very rich, fauna and flora.

In Martinique, it is in the northeast of the island that one can admire the lush jungle and its canopy, if one finds a way to rise several tens of meters!

It is to this aspect of nature that the name of this vintage refers, and one can indeed admire, on the magnificent decanter that contains it, the high treetops…

This creation symbolizes the commitment to the environment of the Fonds-Préville distillery, where the brand's rums are produced. The distillery is part of the EDDEN program (Committed to the Sustainable Development of our Ecosystems and our Nature) and has just obtained Bonsucro certification.

Tasting :

Nose: dried fruits and smoky wood create a seductive invitation.

Palate : pleasantly surprised by a lovely roundness. Roasted cocoa, dates, dried figs and prunes blend beautifully into a harmonious accord that lingers on the palate for many minutes.
