On the nose, it's a burst of dry spices, melted caramel, and citrus zest, with a touch of glue and waxed wood. On the palate, the intensity builds immediately: a lively attack, followed by an explosion of nuts, molasses, dried fruit, and a hint of menthol. The finish is long, warm, and persistent, with a lovely dry, woody character and an almost saline minerality.
