From the first olfactory contact, one is immediately struck by powerful aromas of paint , acetone and pineapple juice, green mango , resin and pink grapefruit , then ripe tropical fruits , banana and raisins .

On the palate, the flavors are reminiscent of unroasted coffee , licorice , cocoa bean , and nutmeg . This rum is powerful , intense , and crisp , with a finish that is both spicy and elegant .
