With The Duo β Chapter 4 , The Whisky Jury continues its conceptual blending work by uniting two iconic Jamaican distilleries: Long Pond and Hampden. Two powerful styles, two distinct eras, but a shared aromatic focus on intensity and complexity.
The Long Pond rum, distilled in 1998, brings depth, maturity, and structure, while the Hampden 2014 infuses energy, fermentative freshness, and aromatic tension. Aging in refill wood casks preserves the raw identity of the distillates without masking their character. The entire blend is bottled without chill filtration, in a decidedly purist spirit.

π

π― Finish: Long, intense and dry, marked by esters, macerated fruits and an almost vinous persistence.
