CHATEAU L’HOSPITALET AOP LA CLAPE BLANC 2019

Wine description

The harvest date is determined, grape variety by variety, only when the grapes have reached optimal ripeness and after daily tasting of the berries. The hand-harvested grapes undergo pneumatic pressing with separate presses upon arrival at the winery. After light static settling, the juice undergoes alcoholic fermentation in barrels. Temperature control preserves the freshness and integrity of the aromas. Aging in barrels lasts between seven and eight months until the spring equinox, with regular lees stirring for two months. After light fining, the wine is bottled.

A 1000-hectare estate, 82 hectares of which are planted with vines, within a protected and magnificent natural park.

  • A complex aromatic palette composed of citrus aromas, white fruits, toasted hazelnuts, as well as a freshness and minerality typical of La Clape wines.
