TERROIR AND TECHNICAL DATA SHEETS

Fine sands, sandy soils, red clays—each vineyard site contributes its unique character to the whole. "Le Pradel" and "La Font du Pape" are prime examples. The latter, derived from Provençal, suggests a damp location ideal for Syrah, or rather for Serine grapes, which express their freshness and crispness. Through the historic and major grape varieties of our region—Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Counoise—this union of terroirs finds its purpose in the coherent and elegant wines it creates. Origin: Blend of complementary parcels located in the vineyard sites of Les Saintes Vierges, La Font du Pape, and Le Pradel.

  • Grape varieties : 64% Grenache old vines, 25% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 1% Counoise.
  • Winemaking : Hand-harvested with severe sorting, destemmed, short and gentle maceration with light punch-downs.
  • Aging : 18 months in recently purchased oak casks.
  • Soils : Les Saintes Vierges and Le Pradel (Sandy soils on Miocene molasse), La Font du Pape (Ancient alluvium and reworked molasse sands).
