Nose : full, rich. Its minerality is uncompromising (schist, slate). Its aroma, reminiscent of wildflowers (clover, lotus), evolves into fresh fruit (Williams pear, mirabelle plum) and saline notes. Gradually, it reveals other olfactory realms of honey and noble spices (saffron, cardamom).
Palate : firm yet restrained. Its texture is remarkably fine. Spices (pepper, pink peppercorns) linger on the palate. The youth of the distillate defies preconceptions. This single malt is noble, fresh, and complex.
The finish is seemingly endless, marked by notes of malted barley, ripe fruit (apple, greengage plum), exotic fruits (pineapple), citrus (lemon), white flowers, aromatic herbs (savory), olives, and samphire. The silky tannins are pure pleasure. The aftertaste is intensely malty, and the empty glass reveals another citrus fruit: clementine.
