GLENALLACHIE FUTURE WHISKEY 4 YEARS BILLY'S 50 ANNIV 60.2° 70 CL

To celebrate Master Distiller Billy Walker's half-century long career in the whiskey industry, Glenallachie is delighted to unveil the latest bottling in the Past, Present and Future series: The GlenAllachie 50th Anniversary Future Edition. Not only is this 4 year old single malt our first peated version, but also the very first distillate produced under the ownership of Billy Walker of the GlenAllachie Distillery. A harbinger of the future, this expression benefited from a long fermentation of 160 hours. The resulting ester-rich, fruity brandy was then matured in ex-rye and bourbon barrels, as well as virgin oak barrels. Made with continental peat, this amber-hued spirit offers a distinctly smoky yet smooth flavor profile, brimming with sweet cinnamon apples and smoky oak. Presented at a natural cask strength of 60.2%, with no added coloring or chill filtration for maximum flavor. Release limited to 10,000 bottles worldwide.

Tasting

Nose: Honey, dried fruits and hazelnut.

Mouth: Aromas of pears stewed with cinnamon, toasted almonds and honey.
