Clos d'Ora is distinguished by its brilliant, deep ruby ​​color. Its powerful yet elegant character is revealed on the palate through intense aromas of black fruit and smooth, subtle tannins. Thanks to its sophisticated winemaking and aging, Clos d'Ora boasts remarkable breadth and length on the palate. Clos d'Ora is an exceptional wine with great aging potential.

The vines undergo leaf thinning before the entirely manual harvest. All macerations are carried out in the concrete vat room, with each plot and grape variety treated separately. The Syrah is fermented with destemmed grapes. The Grenache and Mourvèdre are destemmed and lightly crushed before fermentation under strict temperature control. We practice very gentle maceration to limit tannin extraction. We then perform a few pump-overs to aerate and moisten the cap. For the Carignan, whole bunches are fermented at a relatively high temperature to promote aromatic extraction. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The wines are blended after the spring equinox, respecting the following order: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and finally Carignan.
