The estate: The family estate of Raphaël & Marylène Sallet is located in Uchizy, a charming village in Saône et Loire in Southern Burgundy (10 km South of Tournus and 20 km North of Mâcon).

At an altitude of 260 m, its vineyard benefits mainly from an East, South-East exposure, overlooking the Saône valley, on stony soils on gentle slopes, rich in limestone and clay.

Coming from a family of winegrowers, from a very young age, Raphaël Sallet was always passionate about working in the vineyard, alongside his father Gérard, who was then involved in a cooperative winery.

This will not be Raphaël's choice, who quickly has the ambition to produce his own wine, following the entire process: the cultivation of the vines, the making of the wine, and then the sale of the bottle.

The vineyards are located in the village of Viré, Southern Burgundy, Northern Mâconnais.
