Château Montus La Tyre : Made with respect for the fruit

Château Montus La Tyre is an exceptional wine. To consistently develop the finest aromas, this wine is crafted with the utmost respect for the fruit. From the very beginning of cultivation, the Brumont method limits the number of bunches per vine to five or six, allowing the terroir to fully express itself. After hand-harvesting and transport in crates, only the finest grapes are selected following optical sorting. The berries are then macerated for three to six weeks, fermented at 28°C with punch-downs, and then undergo malolactic fermentation in barrels. Finally, the wine is aged for 14 to 16 months in new oak barrels on its lees. It is thanks to this method and each of its stages that Château Montus La Tyre develops its full aromatic complexity.

Château Montus La Tyre 2010 : A generous and balanced wine

Château Montus La Tyre 2010 is a wine whose generosity is reflected in its deep garnet color. Its complex and concentrated nose offers intense fruitiness enriched with a hint of pepper and a touch of oak. On the palate, it is rich and profound with fine, perfectly balanced tannins. Very elegant, it offers a fresh and harmonious finish. To enjoy this exceptional wine at its best, decant it at least one hour before serving at 15-17°C. Serve it alongside a rack of lamb, duck breast, or a truffle-based dish.
