This Vieux Télégraphe is a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape characterized by a remarkable balance and a beautiful freshness with complex aromas of rose water, citrus, crushed rocks and spring flowers.
Terroir : the vines are around forty years old. This estate is one of the most prominent properties in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with its vineyard located on the very typical terroir of rolled pebbles on the Crau plateau.
Winemaking : Pressing in a pneumatic press. Fermentation: 50% in tanks and 50% in oak barrels, including demi-muids and foudres. Aging takes place partly in tanks and partly in oak. Bottled one year later.
Food and wine pairing : sea bream with fennel, veal chop with morels, filet mignon with mushrooms.
