The third permanent reference from the English distillery, Cotswolds Peated comes from the aging of the original Cotswolds single malt in ex-small 125-litre Islay casks that previously held peated whisky (Laphroaig).
Like all Cotswold whiskies, it is distilled from 100% local barley, malted in the traditional way.
Bottled in small batches at cask strength and undergoing a very long fermentation, this single malt displays subtle smoky and peaty notes. A perfect match for the rich and fruity character of Cotswold single malts.

Tasting notes
Nose : Rich and smoky. Vanilla pods, dried fruit, sweet spices.
Palate : Woody and peaty. Creamy peat smoke, white fruits, light tannins.
Finish : Long and floral. Embers, diffuse smoke, floral and honey notes, toasted wood.
