Nose : full, creamy. Notes of figs and dried dates, rice pudding, noble spices (saffron, cumin) and heady flowers (honeysuckle, lily) precede candied citrus fruits (lemon, orange), Russian leather as well as a hint camphor. It is with this thunderous manner that the first nose chooses to express itself. It evolves into vanilla-bourbon and toasted coffee.
Mouth : fine, distinguished. It surprises with its heightened exoticism (passion, mango). With freshness, the mid-palate reveals new fruits (peach, apricot, mirabelle plum). Powerfully, it develops on dark chocolate and strong spices (cloves, pepper). The finish is honeyed as desired (lime blossom, heather).
Finish : long, silky. His balance is perfect. Grains of salt settle on the tongue while ripe fruits (plum, pear) coat the palate. It gradually oxidizes and lets in notes of brandied cherry and prune. The retro olfaction is gourmand (tarte tatin) and the empty glass is balsamic (cedar, Landes pine).
