EL DORADO PORT MOURANT UITVLUGT 2010 ORANGE 70 CL

El Dorado Port Mourant Uitvlugt 2010 Orange is a molasses rum from Guyana. It was distilled at Diamond, on the banks of the Demerara River, the only still active distillery in the country. This distillery has the particularity of having brought together all the stills from the old plantations of Guyana, which have now disappeared. Among these stills, the famous wooden pot-still from Port Mourant, and the 4 columns from Uitvlugt.

The assembly of these two “marks” (PM and ICBU) was carried out before aging, hence the term “blended in the barrel”. Distillation took place in 2010, and the rum was bottled cask strength in 2019.
