The estate: The story begins in 1905, when 5 hectares were in production. Julien Martin started this vineyard, which today totals 62 hectares of vines in the Côtes du Rhône, Plan de Dieu Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and Rasteau Vin Doux Naturel appellations. It also includes 10 hectares in the Vaucluse and Méditerranée appellations.
The vineyard covers approximately 72 hectares, including 62 hectares in the Côtes du Rhône AOC, Plan de Dieu, and Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau and Rasteau Vin Doux Naturel. And 10 hectares in the IGP Vauclus and Méditerranée.
Grape varieties: 80% Grenache, 20% Merlot
Tasting notes: Nose of very ripe fruit, black cherries and figs, lovely roundness on the palate, chocolate and mocha notes.
