The BRAUD & QUENNESSON Signature du Chai double essence at 49% ABV is the larger sibling of the brand's first two oak-aged rums. It has been aged for a minimum of 12 months and is the result of a skillful blend of different aging periods in French and American oak barrels, unlike its smaller 47% ABV counterpart.
BRAUD & QUENNESSON Double Essence is an amber rum crafted in southern Martinique, on the fertile, sun-drenched lands of Habitation Grand-Fonds. This copper-hued rum expresses fresh notes of ripe sugarcane with hints of bourbon vanilla and tangy fruit that invigorate the palate, while oak essences bring richness and balance. No sugar, coloring, or flavorings have been added. This Signature of the Cellar is the result of the exclusive blending, by the Cellar Master, of Braud & Quennesson rums aged in a selection of French and American oak barrels imbued with subtle aromas from previous maturations, and freshly toasted French oak barrels.
