Nose : Deep and rich. The initial aromas reveal notes of ylang-ylang, clove, toasted walnut, blood orange, apricot kernel, and cherry brandy. With aeration, notes of almonds, emery cloth, raisins, dates, and fine coffee liqueur guide the tasting towards Andalusia.
Appearance : Copper with green highlights
Palate : Lively and powerful. On the attack, cane sugar and chestnut honey dominate the palate. Aromas of tropical flowers deeply permeate the atmosphere. In the mid-palate, vanilla pods and cocoa beans coat the taste buds with their subtle tannins. The finish is camphoraceous and heady (geranium).
Finish : Long and crisp. Imbued with cane sugar flavors, the finish is refreshed by aromas of coconut milk and honeysuckle, along with hints of varnish and mustard seeds. The aftertaste reveals notes of blond tobacco, linden blossom, peppery rose, and coriander. Scents of nuts, raisins, and dried straw linger in the empty glass, transporting us back to southern Spain.
