The Clarendon Distillery is located in the south of the island of Jamaica in St. Catherine's Town. Rum has been made from local molasses since the 18th century. Clarendon is today one of the most important rum distilleries in the world, producing around 12 million liters of absolute alcohol.

This 24 year old Clarendon rum was bottled from a single cask which yielded 192 bottles. It was aged on the Old Continent. Distilled in 1997 in a pot still and matured in an ex-rum oak cask, before being bottled at 49.2% ABV.

This is a limited bottling marked MMW (Monymusk Wedderburn), giving it an ester content of 290 to 300 g/hlpa.
