Arlett Mizunara Finish is a French single malt aged for 3 years, 50% of the blend in new American oak barrels and 50% in bourbon barrels then refined in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels for 1 year. On the nose, this whiskey is expressive, it has finesse and a certain elegance with spices such as pepper and cardamom. On the palate, it is the tension between spice and freshness that prevails, with good length. The promise on the nose is therefore kept on the palate. The Tessendier family has excelled, with seriousness and passion, in the art of distillation for generations. The new project in their copper pipes is this whiskey with vintage accents, a true homage to the 50s and to Jérôme and Lilian's mother. Thus, through strong choices at each stage of the creation process, from the barley to the selection of barrels for aging, Distillerie Tessendier has created a whiskey in its image. And because it brews, distills and matures all of Arlett's production, its quality is perfectly controlled. Arlett is the culmination of teamwork where each link has contributed to its DNA. It is the combination of know-how and choices of the brewer, the distiller and the cellar master, at each stage of its development, which has forged the identity of this French spirit.
