One of the 6 exceptional beers served at Munich's Oktoberfest in a PerfectDraft beer keg!
Presentation
Among its wide range of beers at PerfectDraft, there is Löwenbräu, a beer with a long brewing history that fits in the purest Munich style.
This beer, whose name means "lion's brew," was first brewed in 1383 at a Bavarian inn called Zum Löwen ("At the Lion"). Today, it is one of the six beers served during the traditional Oktoberfest, the beer festival that attracts several million people to the capital of southern Germany every year.
Brewed with wheat, Löwenbräu ale yeast, spring barley, and Jallertau hops, Löwenbräu is a beer that displays a clear yellow color in the glass, topped with a beautiful, creamy, and persistent head. On the nose, it develops a lovely, herbaceous, and sweet aroma, offering a good balance between malt and hops.
On the palate, this is a very refreshing beer that perfectly complements hot summer days and convivial meals. Löwenbräu offers herbaceous hop flavors that provide a pleasant bitterness, followed by malty aftertaste that softens and rounds out this well-balanced beer.
A Lowenbräu is best enjoyed on tap, only with a beer tap.
