RUM LONGUETEAU EDITION 125 YEARS 44.4% 70 CL

Longueteau celebrates its 125th anniversary! In fact, 125 years ago, Henri Longueteau made a decision with serious consequences: transforming the sugar refinery he owned in Guadeloupe into a distillery.

This was the starting point of a beautiful story: this operation would be passed down from generation to generation , up to his great-grandson, François Longueteau .

This anniversary vintage , presented in a magnificent carafe, celebrates this history, that of the oldest family producing agricultural rum in the world!

This is a blend of three exceptional vintages : the years 2008, 2009 and 2010. Very old rums, whose maturation took place in Cognac barrels , in the three most emblematic parts of the cellars of the brand: the wettest, the driest, and the most open to external exchanges.

Fragrances of morello cherry and prune exude from our glass, on an elegant woody background. Tasting reveals candied red fruits and caramelized brown sugar. Finally, it’s the roasted cocoa that makes its appearance, during a grand finale!
