This magnificent deep black bottle arouses mystery: the vintage it contains, Black Opus , well deserves its name!
This is the result of an original approach, unusual for the Père Labat brand: aging for 8 years in Tennessee whiskey barrels, followed by maturation for 3 years in Cognac barrels.
The reduction was carried out using Marie-Galante spring water, of great purity.
We find the characteristic flavors of the brand, but also notes of orange peel that we were not yet used to associating with it.
