Château Roubine Hippy rosé IGP Méditerranée

A native of Saint-Tropez, Valérie Rousselle experienced the yé-yé era; a time of hippie, bohemian, and romanticism. As a tribute to this "peace & love" period and lifestyle, we created Hippy.

A vibrant and fruity organic rosé, made from our south-facing Grenache Noir plots, to be enjoyed on all occasions.

WINEMAKING

Following the night harvest, the grapes are directly pressed to preserve their freshness and a beautiful pale color. The temperature is maintained at 15°C - 16°C after cold settling. Malolactic fermentation is blocked. The wine is then naturally filtered and bottled.

DRESS
Pale dress in shades of rose petals.

NOSE
Delicious notes of small red fruits.

MOUTH
A crisp, fresh attack where you can taste white-fleshed fruits (peaches & nectarines). A light wine, ideal for summer.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, on grilled meat or fish (sea bream), as well as alongside more exotic cuisines (Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese…).
