The name of this vintage probably refers to its exceptionally long fermentation time: 15 days! This allows for what the Savanna brand calls "grand arôme" rums, meaning those with exceptional aromatic intensity.

As for the number 57, it is simply a reference to the alcohol content of this white rum, which has a perfectly crystalline appearance: 57.5° !
