This rum was crafted in a pot still using pure sugarcane juice . It was then aged for six years in French oak barrels. But, as the name of the blend suggests, a final year in Sauternes wine casks completed its remarkable complexity.
This is evident both on the nose, with notes of pear, plum, honey, apricot and exotic fruits, and on the palate where fruity, roasted and floral notes are favored.
