Nose : Both delicate and heady. Dried fruits (almond, walnut) mingle with elegant aromas of beeswax, heather honey, and toffee. With aeration, a lovely rancio reduction (apricot, cherry in brandy) underscores its exuberant character.
Appearance : Orangey copper.
Palate : Clean, lively. Dynamic, the attack on the palate oscillates between flavors of cane sugar, exotic fruits (mango, papaya) and fresh fig. Then notes of rock candy and salted caramel highlight a perfectly integrated oakiness.
Finish : Long, silky. Medicinal (mustard seed), the finish quickly evolves towards vanilla notes (custard). On the aftertaste, a thin film of licorice gently coats the palate. The finish is floral (jasmine, geranium, hyacinth) and resinous (thuja).
